HOW I FOUND THE PERFECT MASK

A Frenchman living in Asia, I discovered diving in 2012 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. It was a revelation, but also a frustration. Just like a growing share of the world's population, I have vision problems, and underwater, everything was blurry!

Most diving centers didn't have any prescription masks to offer. At best, their masks didn't match my eyesight, causing eyestrain. Another option was to wear contact lenses, but for an occasional hobby, the cost and discomfort weren't worth it. Sure, dive shops and opticians had prescription masks for sale, but their prohibitive cost far exceeded my budget: up to $500 for a basic mask! Was clear vision underwater a luxury?

That's when I found a supplier offering quality prescription masks at a decent price. Since then, I've been using these masks in all kinds of real-life conditions: for both scuba diving and snorkeling, on the surface and at depth, in the warm waters of Asia and in the cold waters of France.
