How to read my prescription?+

To finalize the purchase of your goggles, you must pick a lens strength for each eye. Lens strength is the first number (SPH) on your eyeglass prescription:

RX	SPH	CYL	AXIS
Right eye (O.D.)	-4.50	-0.75	120.00
Left eye (O.S.)	-3.25	-0.75	35.00

The - sign indicates myopia (nearsightedness), the + sign hyperopia (farsightedness). If your prescription is not available, round down to the nearest increment (e.g. for a SPH of -3.25, choose -3.00). This operation causes no loss of visibility.

➝ Some optometrists indicate strength in hundreds, e.g. -450, -275 (i.e. -4.50, -2.75).
➝ Our prescription goggles are not suitable for people with severe astigmatism (CYL > -2.00), anisometropia or other vision impairments requiring bifocals or more complex lenses.
